HydraFacial

The HydraFacial treats acne, blocked pores, and oily or dull skin. It does this by removing impurities with its suction mechanism – which you can see in your canister after your treatment, if you wish! – and simultaneously infusing the skin with peptides, serums, and hydration. The intense skin brightening and hydration following a treatment course of 3-6 HydraFacials can also visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation. You don’t necessarily have to have a skin condition or acne to benefit from a HydraFacial; anyone can enjoy the brightening effects for their skin.

You can also apply HydraFacials to your back. Back acne, or ‘bacne’ as some call it, affects both men and women at all stages in life, but is common during hormonal changes. Puberty, birth control medication, and some prescription medication can cause excess oil production in the skin, which can affect the back. Similarly, if you are very active or have repeated friction on your back from a large backpack, for example, you may also get spots in the area. Bacne or a spotty back can be difficult for both men and women, as it can make your self-conscious when changing, choosing clothes, swimming, or during intimacy. A course of HydraFacial treatments for your back extracts the oils, blockages, and debris on the skin’s surface to help cleanse the skin and reduce the skin irritation, clearing the skin.

You will notice your results immediately after treatment, though your face may be a bit flushed and pink. This should recede the same day as you receive your treatment and the clarity of your skin should be improved immediately. For sustained results and to see lasting changes in concerns such as fine lines and hyperpigmentation, it is recommended you have a course of HydraFacial treatments every 4 weeks.

You can enjoy your results for approximately 3-4 weeks. In order to maintain them or create long-lasting change in your skin, a course of the treatments are recommended.

Before you’ve left our clinic following your Nottingham HydraFacial, we will apply a light and sensitive SPF to your skin – you can choose from either a clear or a tinted sun protection cream. This is because your skin will be a little sensitive and flushed from the treatment, with fresh skin cells exposed after removing any dead and dying debris from the skin’s surface. We apply this sun protection all year round to protect your skin post-treatment, and we recommend you avoid harsh sunlight for the rest of the day and continue to apply sun protection for the next 24 hours. After which, a simple light moisturiser will be perfectly fine.
